Emboldened by the melting ice,
Deluging hearts, your duties call!
Ah sunny rays of paradise—
A place called home, before the fall.

Awash, the earth, its splendors spilled,
Its roots oft cringe, but never dry!
Afore the flood—the fields, we tilled;
An honest bloom—the reason why.

True-colored souls, ye flowers wail,
We fleetly meet where nothing grows!
And two by two remove the veil:
Each pair will sprout a sacred rose.

Default thy thorns before they snap,
O mirthless ache, O vengeful pain!
If love can flee the treason’s trap—
Then love can rest, its home regain.
