Graceful Gardens

Emboldened by the melting ice,
Deluging hearts, your duties call!
Ah sunny rays of paradise—
A place called home, before the fall.

Awash, the earth, its splendors spilled,
Its roots oft cringe, but never dry!
Afore the flood—the fields, we tilled;
An honest bloom—the reason why.

True-colored souls, ye flowers wail,
We fleetly meet where nothing grows!
And two by two remove the veil:
Each pair will sprout a sacred rose.

Default thy thorns before they snap,
O mirthless ache, O vengeful pain!
If love can flee the treason’s trap—
Then love can rest, its home regain.

Foreign Forests

To muster growth we oft beseech
Those parts in us, for freedom yearn!
And bend before the highest reach—
A foliage past all concern.

With lowered heads, the skies revealed
Unto the seekers, meek, the crude:
What planted in an open field
Redemption gains in solitude.

Alas! Exclaims the sooted bough,
Let darkness fall, the forests ring!
If what you reap is what you sow,
Eternal souls—the Light will bring.

As love dictates, the heart agrees:
No branch should heed the vengeful axe;
Reject its slash, ye holy trees!
All leaves must drop, the dome relax.

Harrowed Realms

When angels whisper in your dreams
Relinquish doubt, thy dawn is here!
E’er turning wheel, ah, heaven beams,
What veiled before must reappear.

The trodden road forbids the roots
from further shooting in its mire;
Like withered leaves, the hallow hoots
Are best kept drenched in holy fire.

Each darkened soul, a sacred vow:
The road ahead — the road above!
Unearthing light, the tired plow
Will soon become a golden dove.

We hid so well they lost our sight
O just to spread these wings again!
If one at heart, ascend by right
To blaze awake the morning’s reign.

Sparkling Spheres

The eyeless see the ocean’s hue
Against the waves that blindly break:
Translucent lies are lost from view,
Their roaring breath, their truth should wake.

O blowing winds, the waters spread,
Reform the clouds — an ageless squall;
And gathered once, their skin to shed,
One drop of rain, a drop for all!

When Angels play, all coasts are clear,
Each droplet is a Godly sight:
What often ebbs a deadly fear
Will rise and flow unto the light.

Renounce thy burden and its swell—
A golden yoke on Eden’s shore;
If left unhindered in its spell,
The callous hand, divine once more!

Swindled Souls

Forever moments of the world,
In mirth must be, no pain reveal.
Once choice is made against the sword
its future threat will arch and reel.

Should shiny sheaths for long exist
To ricochet cascading minds?
What rises falsely in the mist
Shall cower light it never finds.

O why would one the weapon lift
If not to hurt oneself much more?
For every choice — a spirit’s gift
Of peace and love or rigid war.

Confusion is a rose’s thorn
whereby one seeks a moment’s lapse;
Discard thyself, become reborn!
And bloom above self-righteous scraps.

Fractal Shards

Soft gentle winds, the waters purl,
whispering secrets of the realm:
As conscious minds expand and swirl
Rejoice our hearts, with love they whelm.

There is no death, ye holy spheres,
Like ripples on the ebbing sands;
Eternity oft trickles, veers
Off rigid shores, O broken lands!

Free regal souls, the breaking dawn,
On Angels’ wings the veil uplifts—
Where light abounds, the darkness gone,
And gone all doubts, their lacking shifts.

To hold, let go, there is one chance,
Below the clouds, free will shall roam.
For every choice is made but once:
Reject all fears, embrace the storm!

Laid Fields

Beneath these clouds illusions roll
Against the better half of men;
The others, halved, are charged a toll
To find the limits of their plan.

Awareness at the helm is gripped—
Must caw the crows to no avail?
Lest reason found, its virtues ripped
On broken winds their wings should flail.

If light is capped, it thrusts tenfold,
And taps into the dark of night;
For every feather, gusts of gold
Unto the dawn return in flight.

Away the bitter hearts will shy,
Forever crying, hiding — seek!
What ignorants may soon deny:
With reason dead, all virtues reek.

Starry Matters

Organic things must slowly grow:
To wear by time, their true design!
A barren field should yield and flow;
The crackling fire, the wood refine.

All rolling thunders in the sky
Are always still before the flash.
Thick gathered clouds, they oft defy—
And yet, by lightning, boom and crash.

No smoke can in the ether swirl
If lifted by agnostic flames!
Nor any seed can sprout at will
The instant dug in sodden kames.

O balance must its right assert
To hasten up the perfect storm!
Alas! In failure, deeds exert
Untimely spheres that must deform.

Unfurling Motions

Eternity — all moments hold,
O Breathing winds the canvas steer!
Each one alone, amass unfold
For living things must joy and tear.

Of winding paths, of marks concrete
Silent dreams are oft begotten:
All notes must to their keys retreat—
Rued are thoughts of steps forgotten.

A noble creed is to default,
Varied tones in one resemble,
Lest one becomes an end result:
Music gone — a lasting tremble.

In moving parts, a glimpse of hope
Impartial to the soul’s bequest:
Forever is an endless rope
Where nothing lasts till put to rest.

Forged

Relieved, the heart, of duties past
The sun, at dawn, gives birth once more:
If morning breaks, through heat and thrust,
All elements their parts restore.

In furnace cast, if hammered — shaped
Begotten meaning in the art—
No pain is true if solely draped!
Its particles are whole, apart.

A simple sheath, to carry weight
Of times gone by, forever sealed.
Created so, to cut and grate,
A hilt to grip, an edge, annealed.

Alas! The soul must crystallize
Before the sword it can withdraw
And shed its light, and realize
The sharpest blade — a likely flaw.
